Turmeric Smoothie as Zingy as Sunshine


Turmeric is a really powerful herb considered to have antiviral, antibacterial, antioxidant as well as anti-inflammatory properties
Those that know me will know that I am a huge turmeric fan – I use it as often as I can . . .


1cm cube fresh turmeric or 1 tsp ground turmeric powder
1cm cube fresh ginger
1 orange, peeled
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp maca powder
100ml coconut milk (from a carton not a tin)
1 tsp coconut syrup
1 tbsp chia seeds

Whizz up and da-dah!
