Winter is a restorative time, a chance to slow down and for our bodies to take stock. Eating a diet rich in a wide variety of nutrients is especially important to help support our immune system. Again, look to nature for cues as to the foods that support our bodies optimally at this time of year: winter squashes and pumpkins, dark leafy greens like kale, chicory, fruit high in Vit C, to name a few.
