Makes 1 jar
Golden Tahini Dressing
This is a beautifully creamy, quick and versatile sauce that I drizzle over simple salads, fish, chicken, roasted vegetables or even drizzled on rye toast. If you haven’t given tahini dressing a go, then please do. It’s simple to make, and really does elevate dishes into something pretty special without much effort. It also keeps well in a sealed jar or container in the fridge (for about a week – if it lasts that long!), so do make a double batch if you like it. Plus, the sesame seeds in tahini paste are rich in protein, vitamins and minerals as well as providing a portion of healthy fats.
INGREDIENTS
- 80ml Tahini
- 5 tbsp Water
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Ground turmeric
- 1 clove Garlic
- Salt & Black pepper
STEP-BY-STEP
Add all of the ingredients, except the seasoning, to a blender and blend until completely smooth. Add more water to get the right consistency ( I don’t like it too thick and prefer to be able to drizzle easily off a spoon) then season to taste.
